Students at Work
I've spent the past several years teaching standalone visual art classes, and working with teachers across subject areas to integrate art learning into their curriculum. Students have studied the work of Sol LeWitt alongside linear equations in math class, learned watercolor techniques to visually depict topics related to the water cycle in science class, and completed an English class poetry unit by making hand-bound artist books.

a lot of murals, collaboration, experiments, and opportunities to make the school day a little more interesting.
